To Try or Not To Try ... Neither. Simply Do.

One day I was asked by a friend, "What are you working on?"  My comedian self answers, "Oooh, I am just here working on my blueprints, trying to conquer the world." In a serious response, he suggests: leave out the try. So I repeated:

"I am working on blueprints, to conquer the world."

What a world of a difference does one little word make. In the Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz explains the first agreement, "Be Impeccable with your Word". Say only what you mean.

So here goes the questions. Are you "trying" to be happy? Are you "trying" to succeed? Are you "trying" to change? How about instead we make the affirmative decision to BE happy, to BE successful, to BE change. Let your words be affirmative as what you say carries power... it carries magic to create the future.
