I wish to take a well deserved moment to THANK YOU beautiful souls, my brothers and sisters, which have embraced and kissed me with the best birthday wishes I've ever received and the many congratulations on my DACA approval. The love was intensely felt. I love you!

This year is already becoming to be the best of all. I am happy, healthy and have all I need and desire, and see more coming. I've been busy finishing the last steps of the DACA process such as getting a S.S. card and, finally, a drivers license! Wow, so many doors have opened. Indeed, I am overwhelmed with appreciation and ecstatic to begin my new journey.
Living undocumented is no joke. The hustle is real. The lack of a driver's license had me in jail twice, a car taken away, in angry tears of frustration countless times... and why keep going further. For this reason this new journey introduces me to my word of the year: GRATITUDE.
